Gambling Policy

Summary

As a result of the Gambling Act 2005, we are responsible for the licensing of all premises in South Norfolk where gambling is to take place (e.g. casinos, betting premises, bingo premises etc.). This Statement of Licensing Policy sets out the policies we will apply when making decisions on licence applications.

Gambling Act 2005 - Statement of Policy

The Statement of Policy will remain in effect for a maximum of three years. Before the end of the three year period, consultation on the policy and changes to it will take place before a new revised policy is published.

A full list of those consulted is printed in the policy, the consultation is also advertised on this website.
