South Norfolk Council is encouraging its residents to have their say in the development of its new website.
As part of the site’s overhaul, the Council is keen to get the thoughts - good or bad - of those who actually use the online service, or would like to do so.
Cllr Trevor Lewis, who leads the council on resources, said:
"The website is for our residents, so we want to hear what they have to say. If they can be really frank about what they like, what they can’t find and what really annoys them on the current site, that will help us ensure that our online services and information are as easy as possible for them to access and use.
"South Norfolk is a largely rural community, and it is not always easy for people to make it into our offices - especially with their own work commitments. On this new website, residents will be able to apply for services online, pay bills, report concerns and submit or view planning applications - all in a user-friendly way and at a time that suits them."
The new website will be launched in December. Check out South Norfolk’s current site on www.south-norfolk.gov.uk and email any comments or suggestions to website@s-norfolk.gov.uk
