Freddie gets a home!

Released on 11 May 2005

Saturday May 7 was Responsible Dog Day and organiser South Norfolk Council’s Dog Warden, Rachael Ives said the event was a huge success:

"Around 300 people visited us to find out more about looking after their dogs, and around 80 dogs came with their owners.

“But not every dog is lucky enough to have a caring family. Meadow Green Dog Rescue brought along two of the strays that are currently with them and are looking for a new home - Patch the Jack Russell and Freddie the Lurcher.

"The good news is that after the event, Freddie found a new home. But Patch is still looking. If you can offer Patch a home or would like more information about any of the dogs they have that are looking for homes, please contact Meadow Green Dog Rescue directly on 01508 548216."

If you would like more general information about dog care, please call Rachael Ives on 01508 533739.
