South Norfolk Council’s Up 2 U 2 exhibition comes to the Waveney Room at Diss Corn Hall on Saturday between 10am and 5pm, and people are being urged to take a break from their shopping and call in.
Staff from South Norfolk Council will be on hand to listen and record people’s views in what is the biggest consultation ever undertaken by the authority. These views will be crucial to the development of a Local Plan and Community Strategy for the district.
Alan Gomm, Council planning policy manager in the Local Plans Team said:
“If you are in Diss on Saturday, and you’re mulling over parking in town centres, the price of houses, the threat of crime, the need for more recycling or the need for more activities for young people, to name just a few – just come in and tell us about it.”
