Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA)

Summary

Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) is the framework we use to improve the services we provide to you. It allows us to set targets to improve our performance, and to monitor how we’re doing.

The first CPA inspection by the Audit Commission (in 2003) rated us as a 'Good' council with a good basis to deliver more improvement. We were then retested in 2007/08 and rated as 'Excellent'. Download both Audit Commission Inspection reports below.
