Council makes it a Green Day for CD recycling!

Released on 26 June 2006

South Norfolk Council has just opened 11 CD recycling points and made it a Green Day for recycling.

In partnership with Anglia Printing Services, the council has organised a collection scheme which means people can drop off their unwanted CDs and the plastic casings. The CDs and casings will go into distinctive blue and orange boxes at indoor collection areas - which are open during office hours only.

These are based at:

Costessey - the Parish Rooms, Youth and Community Centre, Breckland Road, and Breckland Hall’s the Owen Barnes Room, in Breckland Road.

Diss - at the Town Council office, the Swim and Fitness Centre and at the Tourist Information Centre.

Harleston - Town Council office, Wilderness Lane.

Loddon - Parish Council Office, Library Annex.

Long Stratton - at South Norfolk House by the reception desk of Environmental Services, and at the Leisure Centre.

Wymondham – at the Town Council office, Middleton Street.

Ketteringham - at the Council's own refuse and recycling depot.
