Photography competition
Summary
If you are a South Norfolk resident with a keen interest in photography, why not enter our photography competition and be in with a chance to win a new MP3 player. The closing date for entries is Friday 19 December 2008. Full competition rules and details of how to enter are given below. Good luck!
How to enter
- Read the competition rules (below);
- Email your photo to us at magazine@s-norfolk.gov.uk stating your name, address, phone number and the category of your photo. There are four categories to choose from:
- Heritage (i.e. buildings, traditions, crafts, attractions);
- Landscapes through the seasons;
- Wildlife;
- Green living. - We cannot accept any entries sent in the post.

Competition rules, terms & conditions
- Entries must be emailed to us at Magazine@s-norfolk.gov.uk by the closing date of Friday 19 December 2008. Only one entry per person.
- Entries will only be accepted from bona fide amateur photographers residing in South Norfolk and not employed by South Norfolk Council. Your full name, address and telephone number must accompany your entry, together with your age if under 18. Your details will only be used in connection with this competition – they will not be passed on to any other organisation.
- Photographs must be supplied in black and white or colour, as high resolution jpg or tif files.
- All photographs must have been taken during 2008.
- The person who sends the photo to us (referred to as “you” from now on) must hold the copyright for it, and you must have the right to allow its publication.
- Photos containing people: by submitting a photo to us you are declaring that any people who are in it have given their consent for the photo to be published.
- By sending a photo to us, you grant us permission to publish the photo – or any part of it - on the South Norfolk Council website, and in any other media we choose (e.g. our community magazine ‘Link’).
- Photos should be taken within the South Norfolk Council area.
- We reserve the right not to publish your photo.
- Photos published on the Internet can be copied and used by other people. If you don’t want to run the risk of your photo being used without your permission, you should not send it to us. We will not accept any liability if your photo is copied from our website and subsequently used elsewhere without your permission.
- The prize of an MP3 player is non-transferable for cash.
- The editorial team’s decision is final and the winner will be notified in January 2009.
