Post Office closures
Summary
Despite a very strong campaign and fierce opposition from the public, Post Office Ltd. has confirmed the closure of five post offices in South Norfolk: Bressingham, Cringleford, Scole, Tacolneston and Trowse.
New Costessey Post Office saved
18 September 2008: Post Office Ltd. had also wanted to close the Post Office at New Costessey, but thanks to the vigorous campaign from the local community, the parish council and ourselves, it has been announced that the New Costessey Post Office will stay open.
