Mobile police stations in South Norfolk

Summary

In order to reduce crime and disorder further, Norfolk Police have three mobile police stations that travel around rural areas of Norfolk. They provide the same service as a permanent police station.

Further information

The mobile police stations are vans that have been fitted out as a police station. They travel around Norfolk, stopping at village locations during the day. These vans are staffed by two Police Enquiry Officers, who are members of Police staff, and a Police Officer. The Police Enquiry Officers remain on board to answer enquiries from the public whilst the Police Officer patrols in and around the village and surrounding area either on foot or by cycle.
