Rate relief for rural shops, post offices & pubs

Summary

We are concerned at the continual loss of village shops and post offices, and the pressure faced by village pubs in the district. While the attractions of large out of town shopping centres are many, we believe that local facilities have a valuable part to play in the life of the community.

For this reason we operate a rate relief policy.
