Trade waste collections for schools & village halls

Summary

We offer a service to collect refuse and recycling from your school or village hall. A charge is made for this service to schools and a weekly refuse collection, with the option of a FREE fortnightly recycling collection. Village Halls are given a set of 240L recycling and rubbish bins free of charge, any additional bins will be charged at the Trade Waste rates.

How to request the Trade Waste collection service

  1. Contact us by e-mail, telephone, or letter (our details are at the foot of this page);
  2. Information we will need from you:
    - your full name;
    - your full address including your postcode;
    - your home telephone number and a number which we can contact you on during normal office hours if this is different;
    - your email address (if applicable);
    - how you would like us to respond to your enquiry, and;
    - details of your request.

About the service

For schools we offer a trade waste service that includes weekly refuse collection and a free fortnightly recycling collection, if requested.

If the bins are also to be emptied in the school holidays we need to be told beforehand, and the account will be amended accordingly.

Duty of Care

If you need the trade waste service you will be expected to complete a Duty of Care form. A sample form can be viewed from the 'downloads' section above.

Paying for the service

Payment for the bin collection is made by quarterly invoices, in advance. Prices for schools are all exclusive of VAT. The prices include the hiring and emptying of bins.
