Training for food processing businesses
Summary
Businesses and staff in the food processing sector can benefit from a range of help and assistance available from Poultec. The nationally recognised training provider works in partnership with us, other district councils and the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) to provide services to organisations and their employees in the food processing and production industry.

What's available
- Consultancy and advice on training issues in food processing;
- Development of procedure manuals, training materials, QA and audit regimes;
- Delivery of NVQ and Assessor Training programmes, including tailor made if necessary;
- Delivery of courses in Health and Safety, Welfare and Hygiene;
- Management training;
- Technical support and specialist advice.
Much of this support is available free of charge because of EU and/or EEDA and South Norfolk funding support - through the 'Upskilling the Poultry/Food Industry in Norfolk & Waveney' programme.
