Maximum & minimum benefit payments
Summary
Taking into account the type of tenancy you have, the maximum housing benefit payable is restricted to the rent levels set by the Rent Officer. The minimum amount payable is 50p per week. There is no maximum or minimum amount of council tax benefit.
